COMPUTER CLASSES

Computer education is an integral part of Teaching Learning Process. The two computer laboratories – Senior School Computer Lab & Junior School Computer Lab. The school has around 25 computers and all are connected through LAN. The children get ample hands-on experience on computer. The LAN connectivity allows knowledge sharing in a easy way for both the students and the teachers. The school has Internet connection from BSNL.

A Junior School Computer Lab has been introduced with an intent to provide exposure to the practicals of Computer Application to Junior School students.

SCHOOL LIBRARY

A library is a heart of any school. The school has a furnished two libraries – Junior School Library & Senior School Library with a treasure of about 10000 books in total and the main focus is to instill in the students an enthusiasm for the joy of reading. The children are issued books according to their standard for a week. Regular reading tests are conducted by the librarian to check their progress and assess for the next level of the books. Junior School Library is well equipped with books and teaching aids to provide conceptual learning in Maths, English & Science.

PLAYGROUND

Two big playgrounds surrounded by beautiful flowers plants and shady trees lures the children to keep themselves fit and healthy. Each class has a weekly games period. Apart from this, they have the opportunity to choose an Outdoor Activity. The school offers facility for games & sports viz. Football, Volleyball, Cricket, Archery, Taekwondo, Kho Kho, Kabaddi & Basketball.This Science Park includes 48 outdoor & indoor interactive equipment, for hands on approach. The life size models illustrating Science principles provide a way for students to explore Science. There is a handbook at the beginning of the park. It gives detailed information about the principle, method of usage, interesting approach to each equipment and its application in the real world. Each model has a description board beside it with questions to arouse interest.

EXTRAMARKS

Extramarks Smartclass is a technology oriented initiative of the school. It provides tools and content for interactive self-paced learning by students, as well as rich-media presentations for teacher-led classroom learning. The students are fascinated and grasp the concepts readily and with ease. Such concepts are retained longer.
